Danielle Yudin

Danielle Yudin was added to head coach Laurie Nevarez's staff in September 2013. She assists in all aspects of the program and specializes in recruiting, working with catchers and hitting.

The 2014-15 squad put together a 36-14 campaign, the program's seventh consecutive season of 30-plus victories. The Cougars beat three ranked teams, including No. 3 Concordia (Calif.), and reached as high as No. 8 in the NAIA Top 25. Six players were named All-Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference and Naomi Amu was selected as a NAIA First Team All-American.

In her first season at CSUSM in 2013-14, Yudin help guide the Cougars to a 39-9-1 overall mark and an appearance in the NAIA Opening Round. Seven players were named all-conference.

Yudin came to CSUSM after a season as the Undergraduate Assistant Coach at UCLA in 2013. During her time on the Bruin coaching staff, Yudin worked primarily with hitters and catchers, assisted with game calling and pitch selection, and served as the team scorekeeper. In addition, Yudin stressed success on the field and in the classroom through mentoring and encouraging a positive work ethic through commitment to competition.

Prior to being appointed Undergraduate Assistant Coach, Yudin was a four-year starter for the Bruins, helping lead UCLA to a NCAA Division I National Championsihp in 2010. That same season, Yudin was selected as the team's co-MVP. She earned All-Pac 12 honors in 2008, 2010 and 2012.

Between June 2012 and September 2013, Yudin was a Patient Care Coorinator and Physical Therapist Aide at Therapy Services and Rehabilitation, LLC.

Yudin earned her B.A. in Psychology from UCLA in 2012.
