Krissty Andaur joined the CSUSM Department of Athletics staff in April 2018 as the Assistant Director of Athletics, Communications.
Andaur is in charge of strategically planning, developing, executing and reporting on communications, public and media relations and marketing. She is also the communication liaison for the CSUSM Department of Athletics. Andaur develops and carries out communication and marketing tactics including branding, imaging and social media activities.
Prior to joining the CSUSM athletic staff, Andaur served as the Director of Communications at 1904 FC since October 2017. She led all aspects of public relations, communication and community relations departments. Andaur was responsible for the management of day-to-day communication operations, publications and community engagement for the Club.
Andaur was the Associate Director of Public Relations at Miami FC from November 2015 to October 2017 where she was an integral part of the public relations and communication department. She was responsible for the management of day-to-day communication operations and publications for the Club. She was also in charge of managing media inquiries and monitoring Miami FC media coverage, along with setting up in-studio visits with local and national networks. Andaur oversaw the distribution of all media advisories and press releases and played a vital role in developing relationships with local, national and international media.
From May 2014 to November 2015, Andaur was the multimedia coordinator and on-air talent for the Jacksonville Armada FC. She was the sideline reporter for home and away matches while assisting with development, arrangement and posting content on ArmadaFC.com and on other digital and social media assets. Andaur used all realms of social media to promote the Jacksonville Armada FC brand, team growth and ticket sales.
Andaur received her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies (Cum Laude) at the University of North Florida. She is bilingual with Spanish as her first language and is obsessed with Orangetheory Fitness.
