AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18
- Member of the CCAA Championship team, CSUSM’s first CCAA title in school history
- Averaged 77.75 rounds over 20 rounds and nine tournaments
- Seven top-20 finishes
- Shot a season-low 71 in the second round of the season-opening tournament Skyhawk West Regional Preview (Sept. 18-19)
- Tied for first after carding a 2-over 146 at the California Baptist Lancer Golf Joust (Feb. 26-27)
- Placed fourth with a 4-over 148 at the Point Loma Reach (Feb. 5-6)
- Tied for 18th at the CCAA Women’s Golf Championships (April 16-18)
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016-17
- Competed in eight tournaments and 14 rounds
- Finished the season with a 77.14 average score
- Four top-10 finishes
- Shot a season-low 72 in the second round of the Point Loma Reach (Feb. 6-7)
- Tied for second with a 5-over 149 at the Augustana College Spring Fling (March 16-17)
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015-16
- Averaged 80.00 in 11 rounds and seven tournaments
- Best finish came at the Cal Baptist Women’s Invitational (Feb. 22-23), tied for seventh after a 157 two-round score
- Best round was a 76 which she accomplished on two different occasions: first day of the Western New Mexico Fall Intercollegiate (Sept. 21) and the Cougar Invitational (Feb. 29)
HIGH SCHOOL
- A 2015 graduate of Turlock High School in Turlock, Calif.
- Played four years of varsity golf for Bulldogs’ coach Mary Krupka
- Four-time winner of the Coaches Award and a Scholar-Athlete in girl’s golf
- Named First Team All-Central California Conference
- Team captain (2014-15) … Active CSF member for all four years
- Helped the team to a third-place finish in Masters and seventh in the Northern California State Championship
- Helped the Bulldogs to their 11th straight conference championship … Won the Sac-Joaquin Section Championship in 2014-15
- Also played softball
- Participated in Relay for Life and the Block “T” Club
PERSONAL
- Born in Turlock, Calif.
- Daughter of Teresa and Chris Benedict
- Has a younger brother, Braden
- Enjoys playing golf with friends, going to the movies, working with children that have disabilities, babysitting, traveling and camping with family in her spare time
- Favorite athletes are Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Buster Posey, Joe Panik and Madison Bumgarner
- Roots for the San Francisco Giants
- Coaches children’s gymnastics
- Was a competitive cheerleader for five years
- Most memorable golf moment was helping the Turlock HS golf team to their first ever appearance in the NorCal Championship
- Majoring in Kinesiology
- Aspires to receive her doctorate in physical therapy and then start a career as a pediatric occupational therapist
