Brook Brand joined Cal State San Marcos in August 2023 as the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach.
Prior to that she was the Head Varsity Girl’s Golf Coach at Carlsbad High School from 2020-23, where she was named the 2022 CIF Coach of the Year after leading the team to a CIF title.
Brook and her husband own an indoor Golf Studio in Carlsbad where they teach golf lessons and partnered with Callaway to provide Callaway club fitting. Brook honed her game working at top courses in the U.S. At Pebble Beach Golf Academy, she trained under Laird Small, one of the country's leading 50 golf instructors. Brook enjoys teaching all levels of golfers and she is also passionate about engaging more women in the sport, helping them conquer initial intimidation.
Brook’s love for golf and years of experience has made her a perfect addition to the team. Currently, she holds the title as Women’s Club Champion at her local golf club.
