  • Placed 27th at the Lewis Crossover (Oct. 8) after recording a 6k time of 22:33.4. 

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2022 DURING TRACK & FIELD
  • Competed in four indoor meets and seven outdoor meets.
  • Ran the fourth-fastest indoor mile in program history at 5:07.83 in the BU Last Chance (Feb. 27).
  • Posted a PR of 4:41.10 in the prelims of the 1500-meter run at the CCAA Track & Field Championships (May 5-7).
  • Ran a season-best 5K time of 17:21.97 at the Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational (March 19).
  • Recorded a season-best 3,000-meter time of 10:18.13 at the Triton Invitational (April 8-9).

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR IN 2021 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Competed in six races. 
  • Turned in a 5K personal-best time of 18:13.9 for sixth place at the Biola Invitational (Sept. 10). 
  • Took 23rd place out of 258 runners at the Lewis Crossover (Oct. 9) with a 6K time of 22:50.6. 
  • Broke her 6k PR time twice this season, turning in a time of 21:20.7 for seventh place at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 25) only to surpass that time with a 21:06.8 performance at the CCAA Cross Country Championships (Oct. 23) for fourth place. 
  • Placed 17th at the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 6) with a 6K time of 22:00.1.

  • Ran the fourth-fastest indoor mile in program history of 5:15.25 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 14).
  • Posted the third-fastest indoor 800-meter time in school history of 2:21.39 at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 15).
  • Helped run the sixth-fastest indoor DMR in program history at the UW Invitational (Jan. 31 - Feb. 1) with a time of 12:43.22.
  • Ran outdoor 800- and 1500-meter times of 2:27.55 and 4:49.66 at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge (March 7).
  • Season shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019 DURING CROSS COUNTRY
  • Ran in six races.
  • Placed ninth at the Cougar Challenge (Sept. 13) with a 6K personal-best time of 21:39.1.
  • Competed in the NCAA Division II West Region Championships, placing 42nd in a 6K time of 21:52.9.
  • Took 28th after crossing the line for a time of 23:15.7 at the CCAA Championships (Oct. 26).  

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019 DURING TRACK & FIELD AT SAN DIEGO STATE
  • Ran the 1,500m at four meets.
  • Had her best performance at UCLA's Bob Larsen Distance Carnival where she finished in 4:46.01, good for third place.
  • Competed in one race, running the distance medley at the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018 DURING CROSS COUNTRY AT SAN DIEGO STATE
  • Competed in all six of SDSU's races.
  • Was the top Aztec finisher at the Mountain West Conference Championships with a time of 23:16.0.
  • Had season-best times in the 5k and 6k at UC Riverside.
  • Finished the 5k in 18:27.9 at the Highlander Invitational (10/13/18) and the 6k in 21:56.0 at the UC Riverside Invitational (9/15/18).
  • Competed at the NCAA Division I Cross Country West Regionals and finished with a 6k time of 22:26.3.

HIGH SCHOOL
  • 2018 graduate of San Pasqual High School in Escondido, California.
  • Ran under coach Patrick King.
  • She was a three-time league champion in the 1600m with a personal-best time of 5:01.93.
  • 2015 league champ in the 800m (2:19.4).
  • Was named the 2018 Valley League Runner of the Year.
  • Named first team all-league in 2015 and 2016.
  • Was team captain in 2017 and 2018.
  • Helped her team qualify for state in cross country in 2014.
  • Earned the varisty track & field GPA Award, the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma and the Biliteracy Seal in 2018.
  • Took part in the Palomar Hospital Pathmaker Internship.

PERSONAL
  • Born and raised in Escondido, California.
  • Daughter of Michele and Lou Laurenzana.
  • Has one older brother, Zach, who competed on the CSUSM men's cross country/track & field teams from 2012 to 2015.
  • Wants to go medical school or join a physician assistant program after graduating.
  • Enjoys playing the piano, dancing, tennis, baking and writing.
  • Her greatest influence is her brother.
  • Her favorite films are anything Marvel. 
  • Her favorite athletes are Emma Coburn and Cory McGee. 
  • Her most memorable moment is breaking her own record in the 1500m alongside a good friend/teammate at the Bob Larson Distance Carnival.
  • Her grandmother immigrated from Egypt and her grandfather immigrated from Sudan, and she's very proud of her heritage.
  • Most memorable CSUSM moment was being accepted into the Office for Training, Research and Education in the Sciences (OTRES) U-Rise program. 
  • Likes most about CSUSM is the people, especially her teammates!
  • Majoring in Biological Sciences-Physiology. 
  • Will be applying for Ph.D. programs in Neuroscience this fall.
