COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos men's golf team won the SMU Bishop Invitational, hosted by Saint Martin's at The Home Course. After the opening round was canceled because of weather and unplayable course conditions, the Cougars posted a two-round total of 8-under 568 (289-279) to claim the title by seven strokes.

FIRST TEE

• Gavin McCormick tied for second at 3-under par 141 (71-70) and shared the tournament lead with 10 birdies.
• Liam Weaver also tied for second at 3-under par 141 (73-68), closing the tournament with a 4-under 68.
• Aiden Canada tied for fifth at 2-under par 142 (73-69).
• Aaron Arch tied for 26th at 3-over par 147 (72-75).
• Kai Miyata tied for 53rd at 8-over par 152 (80-72), improving by eight strokes in the final round.
