BU - 54' Hayden Gehring (Assisted by Briley Phelps)
CSUSM - 84' Brianna Delgado (Unassisted)
BU - 89' Jade Alverio (Assisted by Hayden Gehring and Taylin Laws)

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • A corner kick from the right side by Isabelle Salazar found the head of Maryn Rogers, who put the ball into the left corner of the goal from six yards out to give CSUSM a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute.
  • Biola knotted the game at 1-1 in the 54th minute. A free kick from near the Eagles bench by Briley Phelps was headed into the left side of the net by Hayden Gehring from just behind the penalty kick marker.
  • With time winding down, CSUSM took a corner kick that bounced in and out of the left side of the box until Brianna Delgado took possession just outside the top left corner. Delgado then sent a sailing shot into the top right corner of the goal to give the Cougars a 2-1 lead in the 84th minute.
  • The Eagles weren't done fighting yet. Following a Biola throw-in deep in Eagle territory to Taylin Laws, she then passed to Gehring, who sent a long pass downfield into Cougar territory, where Jade Alverio took possession just outside the box. Alverio then took a shot from the middle of the box on the right side and put the ball into the left side of the goal to knot the game at 2-all in the 89th minute.

QUICK KICKS
