CSUSM Posts Two NCAA Provisionals, Two Top-10 Program Marks in Five-Meet Week

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's outdoor track & field team tallied two NCAA provisionals and two top-10 program marks in five meets taking place Thursday through Saturday.

PACIFIC COAST INVITATIONAL TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Jordyn Brooks tallied the second-best long jump mark in program history with an NCAA Division II provisional of 5.89 meters, finishing fourth out of 33.
 
LEOPARD INVITATIONAL TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Kennadi Cauley completed the 3000-meter steeplechase in 12:03.73, finishing 18th out of 29 .
 
BRYAN CLAY INVITATIONAL TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Liberty Miller ran the second-fastest 1500-meter time in program history with an NCAA provisional of 4:28.07 – improving upon her previous PR of 4:29.81.
  • Jordyn Brooks finished fifth out of 55 in the long jump with a mark of 5.71 meters.
 
MT. SAC RELAYS TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Nadia Miechowicz placed 24th out of 41 in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.92 seconds – the fastest Division II time in the field.
  • In the 200-meter dash, Miechowicz finished 23rd out of 50 with a time of 24.45 seconds – the second-best non-Division I time. 

BEACH INVITATIONAL TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Orchid Concha placed 27th in the 100-meter dash invite with a wind-aided time of 12.13 seconds.
  • Shaylee Mutka placed 33rd out of 57 in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.71.

UP NEXT
CSUSM will return to action on April 30-May 2 as it hosts the 2026 CCAA Championships at Mangrum Track & Field.
