CHICO, Calif. – The No. 1 Cal State San Marcos softball team (24-3, 6-2 CCAA) split Saturday's doubleheader at Chico State (8-12, 2-6 CCAA), winning the opener, 6-3, before a late-inning comeback fell short in the series finale, 7-4, at Wildcat Field.
