CSUSM Posts School Record, NCAA Provisional, Eight Top-10 Marks at Rossi Relays

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's outdoor track & field team saw a school record, an NCAA Division II provisional time and a total of eight top-10 program marks at the Rossi Relays on Saturday at the Burns Track Complex.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES
  • The team of Adam Moe, Troy Thompson Jr., Isaac Brooks and Jason Wells set a school record in the 4x100-meter relay with a NCAA Division II provisional time of 40.42 seconds - .78 seconds faster than the previous record posted last season.
  • Alan Jimenez (8:31.12) and Ziggy Nacco (8:34.37) ran the second- and seventh-fastest 3000-meter times in program history, respectively.
  • In the 100-meter dash, Logan Wilson posted the program's fourth-fastest time in school history at 10.70 seconds.
  • Gio Moya (15.07) and Kevin Meumann (15.50) ran the fourth- and ninth-fastest 100-meter hurdle times in program history, respectively.
  • The 4x400-meter squad of Moe, Brooks, Thompson and Wilson ran the seventh-fastest time in program history at 3:16.98 – the fastest time by a CSUSM team since 2014.
  • KeSean Goodson recorded the eighth-best triple jump mark in team history at 13.81 meters.
