COURSE REPORT
Kai Miyata tied for seventh individually to lead the Cal State San Marcos men's golf team to a tie for fourth place at the NCAA West/South Central Region Preview, which concluded Tuesday at The Dominion Country Club. The Cougars carded a 7-under 857 after rounds of 289, 285 and 283. Lubbock Christian captured the team title at 11-under 853, while UT Permian Basin and Midwestern State tied for second at 855 (-9).

FIRST TEE

• Kai Miyata led CSUSM with a tie for seventh at 6-under par 210 (68-71-71). Miyata's 16 birdies ranked third in the field.
• Gavin McCormick tied for 35th at 2-over par 218 (71-68-79). He opened the tournament with back-to-back under-par rounds.
• Aiden Canada tied for 35th at 2-over par 218 (80-70-68), closing the event with a 4-under 68.
• Liam Weaver tied for 64th at 7-over par 223 (78-76-69). Weaver carded a 3-under 69 in the final round.
• Jack Main tied for 73rd at 10-over par 226 (72-79-75).
