ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – After falling 3-1 to San Francisco State, the third-seeded Cal State San Marcos softball team (37-19) rallied for a 3-1 win over top-seeded Cal State East Bay in an elimination game of the CCAA Tournament presented by FloCollege on Thursday at Seawolf Softball Field on the campus of Sonoma State.

- The Gators took a 1-0 lead on a bases-loaded walk in the first inning.

- CSUSM took a 3-0 lead in the second inning scoring on a bases-loaded walk and Paige Donnelly's 2-RBI single up the middle.
- The Pioneers answered in the third with an RBI single to shortstop by Annelise Garcia.
