PORTLAND, Ore. –
Efren Nunez Dominguez of the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team was named to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-West Region first team, the association announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Â
The redshirt junior midfielder previously earned All-CCAA first-team honors after concluding the 2025 season with a team-leading 10 goals, six assists and 26 points. His goal total tied for the conference lead while his point total ranked second. Both totals tied CSUSM's single-season records and were the most by any Cougar since transitioning to NCAA Division II in 2015.
Â
This is Nunez Dominguez's third honor of the postseason as he was also named to the CCAA All-Tournament team after scoring two goals and earning two assists in the Cougars' runner-up finish at the tournament.
Â
Nunez Dominguez is the second Cougar in program history to earn D2CCA All-West Region honors and is the first to be named to the first team.
