HOW IT HAPPENED
- Five service errors plagued the Cougars in the opening set as the Toros took it at 25-18.
- CSUSM struggled in the second set on offense, tallying just six kills to CSUDH's 16, as the Toros recorded a 25-13 win.
- For the third consecutive set, the Cougars got in a hole early by being down 12-3 and were forced to play catch up. CSUSM did put together a 7-4 run late but just couldn't force a fourth set, falling 19-25 as CSUDH completed the sweep.
