SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Malia Mastora of the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
 
The 2023-24 Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at his/her current institution, participated in at least 90 percent of the institution's games/contests or must have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests, and must be a sophomore academically and athletically.

This is Mastora's first CSC Academic All-District honor.
