CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (4-5-5, 0-5-2 CCAA) took a 3-1 loss at Cal State Dominguez Hills (6-4-4, 3-0-4) on Friday night at Toro Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- After one half of play, the game was scoreless with CSUDH having the edge in shots (6-5) and shots on goal (3-2) while each team had one corner kick.
- Following a long shot from outside of the box by the Toros, Mikey McKibbin took the deflection off the keeper and put a low shot into the center of the goal to put CSUDH up 1-0 in the 57th minute.
- After a CSUDH pass into the box from the left side was deflected, Ramiro Rosas powered a shot into the upper middle portion of the net from six yards out to give the Toros a 2-0 lead in the 81st minute.
- Taking a free kick outside the top of the box in the 88th minute, Ryan Meinardus put a high shot into the upper left part of the goal to cut the Cougars' deficit to 2-1.
- As time was expiring, McKibbin put another shot into the upper left side of the net from six yards out to give the Toros a 3-1 win on his second goal of the game.

	- The Toros ended the game with the edge in shots (25-15) and shots on goal (11-5) while each team took three corner kicks.
- Meinardus' goal was his team-leading seventh of the season, setting a new career high for goals in a single season.
- Meinardus now has 14 career goals – the fifth most in team history.
