SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (5-3-4, 2-2-1 CCAA) settled for a scoreless draw against Cal State Monterey Bay (4-1-6, 1-0-4 CCAA) in the final game of its three-game homestand on Thursday at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scoreless after 45 minutes, the Otters led in shots (4-1), shots on goal (2-1) and corner kicks (2-1).
- The second half saw more of the same, except CSUSM led in shots (7-2), shots on goal (4-1) and corner kicks (5-1).

- CSUSM ended the game with the edge in shots (8-6), shots on goal (5-3) and corner kicks (6-3).
- With her three saves, keeper Allison Marcure now has 186 career saves – one shy of the program record of 187 set by Kaycee Gunion in 2011.
- Isabelle Walsh and Emily Mahmoud led CSUSM with two shots each, while both of Mahmoud's shots were on goal.
- This was CSUSM's second scoreless draw of the year after doing the same against then-No. 12 CUI on Sept. 25.
- The draw snapped a streak of three consecutive wins by CSUSM against CSUMB.
- This was the second scoreless draw in the all-time series between the Cougars and Otters and was the first since 2017 in Seaside.
- CSUSM now has a 6-1-2 lead in the all-time series.
