SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (4-11, 2-6 CCAA) wrapped up the weekend with a sweep over visiting Cal State East Bay (7-9, 2-6 CCAA) to record its first conference home win on Saturday afternoon at The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Behind a .382 clip, a late 6-1 run propelled the Cougars to a 25-21 victory in the opening set.
- CSUSM broke up a 14-all tie with two aces by Beilby and two kills by Kranz before cruising to a 25-17 victory.
- Making only three hitting errors in the third set, the Cougars posted a .357 attack percentage to record a 25-22 win for the sweep.

- This marks CSUSM's first sweep of the season.
- CSUSM's .357 attack percentage was the highest since the Cougars finished with .363 in a sweep over Chico State on Oct. 19, 2019.
