SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (4-1-4, 0-1-1 CCAA) will play its CCAA home opener against Cal State San Bernardino (3-1-4, 1-0-1 CCAA) on Friday at 3 p.m. before facing No. 18 Cal Poly Pomona (6-1-2, 1-0-1 CCAA) on Sunday at 2 p.m.

• CSUSM began conference play with a 1-1 draw at Sonoma State after an 85th-minute goal by Riley Patterson.
• The Cougars saw their program's NCAA Division II unbeaten streak record of eight games end on Sunday as they took a 1-0 loss at Cal Poly Humboldt.

CCAA HOME OPENER AGAINST CSUSB

• The Coyotes began conference play with a 1-1 draw against Cal State Monterey Bay on Friday before earning a 5-2 win against San Francisco State on Sunday.
• CSUSB went 2-1-3 in non-conference play, including a 2-2 draw against Cal Poly Pomona in a non-league game.
