SAN MARCOS, Calif. – A last-second layup with 0.9 seconds remaining put San Francisco State (10-8, 4-6 CCAA) past the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball (7-9, 6-4 CCAA) by a score of 69-67 on Thursday night at The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SF State took its largest lead of the first half at the 10:39 mark on a Tyjean Burrell layup that made it 17-5.
- CSUSM answered with a 17-5 run to even the score at 22-all on a layup by Max Tengan with 3:56 remaining in the half.
- After an Alex Smith jumper put the Gators up 24-22 at the 2:02 mark, neither team scored in the final two minutes.
- The Gators led the entire first half after shooting 32.3% (10-of-31) to CSUSM'S 29.6% (8-of-27).
- SF State outrebounded CSUSM in the first 20 minutes, 25-19.
