FRESNO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (2-1-2) played to a 0-0 tie at Fresno Pacific (1-2-2) on Thursday night at Ramirez Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Cougars and Sunbirds played a scoreless 45 minutes to begin the contest as FPU led the first half in shots at 5-3 while CSUSM held a 4-0 advantage on corner kicks.
• All three CSUSM shots in the first half belonged to Ally Tomasetti.
• In the second half, the Cougars heavily outshot the Sunbirds 9-5, but neither side could get the go-ahead goal after 90 minutes of play.

• This was the first tie in seven games between the Cougars and Sunbirds, and it was the first scoreless game of the all-time series.
• CSUSM ended the game with a 12-10 lead on shots while both teams put three on goal.
• The Cougars also finished with a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks, taking its most from the corner this season.
