CARSON, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (7-15, 6-9 CCAA) fell in four sets at Cal State Dominguez Hills (5-17, 3-12 CCAA) on Friday night in the Torodome.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars hit .571 with 16 kills and no errors on 28 attempts to clinch a 25-17 victory in the opening set.
- The Toros evened the match at 1-1, halting a Cougar comeback after being down 12-4 at one point, with a 25-23 second set win.
- The third set had 12 tied scores and six lead changes with both teams reaching set point twice before CSUDH came out on top with a 29-27 win to take a 2-1 lead.
- The Cougars took a 14-11 lead in the fourth set on a Jennings kill, but the Toros came out after a timeout to rattle off six unanswered points which led to a 25-19 win.
QUICK HITS
- The Cougars split the series this season after defeating the Toros in four in The Sports Center on Sept. 17.
- Jenning's 12 kills and Miechowicz's eight kills were both season highs.
