SAN FRANCISCO – A goal in the final seven seconds of play was the difference as the Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (5-8-3, 3-4-2 CCAA) fell 1-0 to San Francisco State (4-7-4, 2-5-2 CCAA) on Friday afternoon at Cox Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first 45 minutes went scoreless as the Cougars outshot the Gators, 3-1.
- With the clock winding down, a lob pass from SF State's Kwak at midfield found Ferrari in the upper left portion of the box. With the keeper coming out of the goal, Ferrari moved to his right with the ball past the keeper and put the ball into the middle of the net with seven seconds remaining to unknot the contest.

- SF State ended up outshooting the CSUSM by a 10-6 margin after having a 9-3 advantage in the second half.
- The Cougars had possession for 56% of the game.
