SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (6-5-4, 4-2-2 CCAA) picked up a point with a 1-1 draw against Cal Poly Humboldt (5-4-5, 2-2-4 CCAA) on Sunday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a Humboldt throw-in, Becker gained possession just outside the top left corner of the box. She then sailed a shot into the top right corner of the goal and gave the Lumberjacks a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute.
- In the 51st minute, a corner kick from the left side by Moore was headed by Hernandez to Huntington. On the first touch from around the penalty kick marker, Huntington put a strong shot into the left corner of the net to even the game at 1-1.
QUICK KICKS
- Huntington's goal was her first of the season, and she ended the game with a game-high six shots.
- The assist by Moore was her team-leading third of the year while Hernandez picked up her first assist.
- While Humboldt had the advantage in shots at 12-10, both teams put four shots on goal.
- CSUSM took more corner kicks at 4-2.
- This was the second consecutive tie between the Cougars and Lumberjacks and it was the fourth overall draw in the all-time series.
- Receiving one point from the draw, the Cougars now have 14 points in the CCAA standings and are tied for second with three games to go.
