SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos Department of Athletics has announced its partnership with HomeTown Ticketing to offer digital ticketing to enhance the experience of students, staff and community members as they look to attend CSUSM home athletic events.

Digital ticketing via HomeTown Ticketing will allow fans to secure their tickets ahead of the game by purchasing online at CSUSM Athletics' official ticketing page found at www.CSUSMCougars.com/tickets.  

The use of HomeTown Ticketing will also make the entrance to events simple, as fans will simply present their ticket to be scanned at the gate without having to wait in line at the ticket office. Tickets can be saved and scanned directly on a smartphone, or the PDF of the ticket can be printed and brought to the game to be scanned. Tickets purchased online can also be easily shared with family and friends via text.

"We are excited to partner with HomeTown Ticketing to provide our fans simple and easy access to purchase tickets to our events," said Morod Shah, CSUSM Associate Director of Athletics, Facilities and Operations.  "As we return to action this year, the fan experience is more important than ever to us, and HomeTown makes the experience that much better as they attend our home games."

While fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online prior to arrival, tickets will remain available on-site for purchase via cash or credit card.
 
CSUSM will be using digital ticketing for the following sports this year: Men's and women's soccer, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball.

CSUSM students, faculty and staff are eligible for one free ticket. After selecting the appropriate athletic event, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Have a Passcode?" button. Enter your student or employee ID for the free ticket option to appear.
