THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH RON PULVERS
"I'm really proud of the guys. They fought super hard to stay in this one. It's such a difficult conference and Monterey Bay is such a good team. It's a difficult place to play. I'm proud of the guys for playing out of character for us in terms of playing style. We had to match a really direct and physical game and we did it. I'm very pleased with the team and looking forward to getting after it again on Sunday."

UP NEXT
CSUSM will now head to Cal State East Bay to face the Pioneers on Sunday at 2 p.m.
