SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – In its final game of the 2019 calendar year, the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team fell 89-73 to Cal State San Bernardino at Coussoulis Arena on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Coyotes took their largest lead of the half at 32-21 with 6:07 remaining on a jumper by Andres Villa.
- The Cougars concluded an 11-2 run with a three by Jayce McCain and cut the deficit to 34-32 with 3:43 remaining in the first half.
- The first half concluded with CSUSM trailing 46-36.
- Seits led the Cougars with 10 points in the first half while the Coyotes' Tyrell Henderson led the contest with 11 points.
- CSUSB shot 48.7% (19-of-39) from the field while CSUSM came in at 41.9% (13-of-31).
- Of the Coyotes' 46 points in the first half, 12 came off CSUSM's seven turnovers.
- Down 11, CSUSM went on a 6-0 run to cut the deficit to 58-53 after a Fuller layup with 13:47 remaining.
- CSUSB took its largest lead of the game at 72-55 with 9:30 remaining in the game.
- For the remainder of the game, CSUSB's lead never dipped below 12 points.
- The Coyotes shot 61.5% (16-of-26) in the second half while holding the Cougars to 42.9% (12-of-28).
