Cougars Shut Out by Broncos, 2-0

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team fell 2-0 to visiting Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Broncos opened up the scoring in the 17th minute as Taylor Scott put a shot into the lower left corner of the net off a pass from Allyssa Larkin.
  • In the 51st minute, CPP's Taylor Rasmussen put the Broncos' second goal into the upper left corner of the goal.
  • The Cougars' offense was stifled by the Broncos defense as CPP held CSUSM to just four shots for the game while taking 15.

  • CSUSM drops to 3-4-2 (2-2 CCAA) while CPP improves to 6-3 (2-1 CCAA).
