SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team remained undefeated at home with a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) sweep over Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday afternoon in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Back-to-back blocks by Maddy Newcombe and Wheaton put CSUSM up 6-5 in the opening set.
- The Cougars recorded a 25-20 victory in the first set after registering five blocks including solos by Newcombe and Hébert.
- Consecutive kills by Aguilar gave CSUSM a 14-11 lead in the second set. The Cougars stayed on top from then on to collect a 25-23 victory.
- After trailing 3-0 in the third set, the Cougars put together a six-point run. CSUSM held on to win the third set at 25-19.
