SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team saw its home win streak come to an end Friday after the Cougars dropped a four-set California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) match to No. 1 Cal State San Bernardino in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars shocked the top-ranked Coyotes by taking the first set, 29-27, and handing CSUSB its first opening-set loss of the season.
- CSUSM tallied 21 kills in the first set while the Coyotes only registered 14.
- The Cougars challenged the Coyotes in the second set, taking an 8-5 lead before CSUSB pushed back with a 10-2 run. CSUSB eventually won the second set at 25-18.
- The third and fourth sets were controlled by the Coyotes as they finished on top at 25-14 and 25-16.

- The Cougars drop to 10-7 (4-4 CCAA) while the Coyotes remain undefeated at 15-0 (8-0 CCAA).
- CSUSM saw its nine-game home win streak snapped that started last season. This was the longest home win streak in program history.
