SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team dropped its first California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) game of 2018, falling 1-0 to Humboldt State on Friday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM keeper Justin Tesar stopped a penalty kick in the 60th minute by Francisco Calderon.
- On a throw in by Steinmetz, Baxter headed the ball to the far left corner for the goal.
QUICK KICKS
- CSUSM moves to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in CCAA play while the Lumberjacks improve to 4-3-2, 1-2-2 in conference action.
- The Cougars had twice as many shots as HSU, finishing at 18-9.
- Tesar tallied five saves on the day.
