PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team took runner-up at the Augustana Spring Fling on Friday afternoon at The Classic Club.
The Cougars shot 35-over 323 behind a pair of 80's by
Victoria Smith and
Joan Park.
Bergen Benedict shot 81 and
Sarah Garcia carded an 82.
Taylor Coover shot 84.
Augustana took home the tournament title with a total of 22-over 310. Concordia (Minn.) (335, +47) took third, narrowly beating Pomona-Pitzer (336, +48). Calvin College and La Verne took fifth and sixth, respectively.
