ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team fell 3-1 to host Sonoma State in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Friday afternoon at Seawolf Soccer Field.
The loss snapped the Cougars' two-match winning streak and dropped the Cougars to 5-6-2 overall and 3-5-1 in CCAA play. SSU improves to 7-4-2, 3-3-1 CCAA with the win.

Zach Sheppard to make six saves. The Cougars earned eight corner kicks as opposed to three corners for the Seawolves, but Stalboerger's goal was CSUSM's only shot on frame.
The Cougars move to 0-3 in CCAA road games and 2-4 in all road games this season.
CSUSM travels farther north on Sunday, Oct. 18 to take on Humboldt State at 2 p.m.
