LA MIRADA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team concluded the Biola Summer Slam with two wins, knocking off No. 18 College of Idaho in a five-set victory after sweeping Bellevue (Neb.) Friday morning.

Kelli McLin led CSUSM with 12 kills while registering eight digs. Junior

Samantha Flores capped off an impressive weekend with a 13-dig performance.
Behind an eight-ace team performance, the Cougars swept Bellevue (Neb.) with scores of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-18. Foster spread out the CSUSM offense with three Cougars earning seven kills or more. Banich had a team-high 10 kills while Hubbard and McLin chipped in eight and seven, respectively.

CSUSM competes in the UC Merced Holiday Inn Express Volleyball Invitational over Labor Day weekend, beginning with another showdown against Warner Pacific on Friday, Aug. 29. The Cougars opened the 2014 season with a three-game sweep over the Knights on Aug. 15.
