NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-AthletesKANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team had three student-athletes named NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, the association announced Tuesday.

Ryan Jensen and
Nguyen Pham were the student-athletes honored.
The three student-athletes were among the 233 students recognized as scholar-athletes from across the country.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
In all, CSUSM has had 22 student-athletes from across its 13 sports named NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athletes in 2013-14.
The Cougars recently wrapped up their season with an 18
th-place finish at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in Orange Beach, Ala. CSUSM earned five All-America selections on its way to its best finish since 2010.
