Northern California RecapThe Cougars came away with a pair of victories in their final two regular season road games. On Friday at Menlo,
Eric Lopez and
Sullivan Tobin scored first half goals before
Erik Mueller broke a 2-2 stalemate with the game winner in the 80
th minute. It was Mueller's first goal since 2011. In Sunday's 1-0 victory at UC Santa Cruz,
Ryan Kisgen scored his first goal as a Cougar by finishing off a nice combination by Lopez and
Angel Mora. The Cougars have won four of their last five. Mora has seven assists over his last five matches.
Just a Bit OutsideThe Cougars narrowly missed being included in the NAIA Top 25 for the second consecutive week, the national office announced Tuesday. The Cougars received 67 total points in the poll, coming in at No. 27. In the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Group Poll, CSUSM is No. 3 behind Ashford and Georgia Gwinnett. If the A.I.I. tournament started today, the Cougars would be the No. 3 overall seed.
La Sierra PreviewAll-time record vs. La Sierra: 6-2

Home Games Moved to Multipurpose FieldAll remaining home matches featuring the Cal State San Marcos soccer teams will be played on the CSUSM Multipurpose Field.
