College Rocks Hunger Food Drive
For the final four matches of the regular season, the CSUSM Volleyball Team will be collecting food to donate to the San Diego Food Bank as part of the College Rocks Hunger Food Drive (Oct. 17-Nov. 9).  The goal is to collect more than 10,000 lbs of food. Please drop off your nonperishable food in the bin in front of the Cougar Athletic office or at the welcome desk at the game.
 
Strong Presence In National Statistics 
The Cougars are ranked in seven categories at the national level. The seven rankings are: No. 26 in aces (189), No. 27 in assists per game (11.76), No. 30 in kills per game (12.76), No. 35 in total assists (1282), No. 35 in total kills (1391), No. 41 in hitting percentage (.212) and No. 41 in aces per game (1.73).  Senior Alyssa Foster also makes an appearance; ranking No. 22 in total assists (1040) and No. 23 assists per game (10.0)

Last Week Recap
The Cougars reached the 20-win mark with a sweep over Simpson College to cap off the 2-1 week.  CSUSM began the week with a hard-fought loss on Tuesday at No. 5 Biola before taking care business with a sweep on Friday against visiting La Sierra.

Westmont Breakdown: After back-to-back losses to No. 5 Biola and then No. 17 Vanguard, the Warriors have gone on a four-game win streak that included five-set wins over La Sierra and Embry-Riddle (Fla.) as well as sweeps over Arizona Christian and San Diego Christian.
