Â
MOVING BACK UP
Thanks largely in part to their recent six-game winning streak and a victory over previously undefeated Westmont, the Cougars jumped back into the national rankings in the most recent
NAIA Coaches' Poll, coming in at No. 25. It marks the first time the Cougars have been ranked since the Preseason poll earlier this season.
Â
SHOOTING FOR 150
Junior standout
Taylor DeGraaf currently holds the CSUSM career record in service aces with 148, and is closing in on 150 for her career this week. DeGraaf, who holds the career record in kills (1,543), is no stranger to passing milestones, having surpassed 1000 career digs against Embry-Riddle in September.
Â
DeGraaf and the Cougars currently rank 4
th in the NAIA in service aces with 182, while DeGraaf herself is second in the nation in kills with 386.
