IRVINE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team fell to No. 6 Concordia (Calif.) 4-0 on Thursday afternoon at Eagles Field.

Christian Ramirez scored twice for the Eagles, while David Garcia and Eddie Gutierrez added scores. The Cougars were outshot 19-4.

Tobin Sullivan, Alex Jaziri and Ryan Vandenburg all recorded shots for the Cougars. Landon Sherwood made seven saves in goal, a career high.

“We did not perform today. Concordia capitalized on all our mistakes and made us pay for not being ready to play,” said CSUSM head coach Ron Pulvers.

CSUSM (1-3-1) will face Biola on Wednesday at the CSUSM Multipurpose Field.
