EAT, DRINK AND BE MARY…MOUNT
The Mariners enter Wednesday's matchup unbeaten in their last five matches and 6-1-3 over their last 10. They've scored at least two goals in each of their last four games, most recently beating SOKA University of America, 3-0 (Oct.5 ). Marymount defeated the two teams CSUSM has played at home this season – Biola and The Master's College – 2-1 on Sept. 7 and Sept. 15, respectively.

HISTORY
CSUSM and Marymount have faced off twice in the past two years, with the Cougars prevailing 3-0 in 2010 and 4-2 in 2011. In last season's game in Carson, CSUSM trailed 2-0 heading into half time, but rallied for four goals in the second to complete the comeback. Erik Mueller and Cary Cousineau made it 2-2 before Alex Brunsell scored twice within the final half-hour. Mueller, Warren Ashcroft and Eric Lopez logged assists in the match. The Cougars are 2-0 all-time against the Mariners.

WEEKEND REVIEW
The Cougars went 0-1-1 over the weekend at the Westminster Fall Invitational, tying No. 12 Ashford (Iowa) 1-1 and falling to Trinity Lutheran (Wash.) 3-1. Eric Lopez scored his first goal of the season off an assist from Jake Kaiser in the opening game, but the Saints equalized in the second half. Trinity Lutheran took a 2-0 lead in the first half in Sunday's match; however, Brunsell brought the Cougars back to within a goal in the 75th. TLU tacked another on with 11 seconds to play. CSUSM is 0-2-2 in its last four matches.
