Playing in their last game at The Master's Tournament in Santa Clarita, Cougar men's soccer was defeated by a very good Master's College team 3-0 on Saturday.

CSUSM falls to 1-3 on the year.  Master's College improves to 4-0.

Following a good win on Friday against Hope International, the Cougars were unable to carry the momentum over to even their record on the season.  Master's College held a 1-0 halftime lead, and pushed it to 3-0 with goals in the 52nd and 79th minutes.

"We started both halves very well, but just couldn't keep it going," commented CSUSM Head Coach Ron Pulvers.  "We have an awesome group of guys that are talented soccer players, and we just need to translate that into results."

The Cougar men will be looking to get back into the wins column on the road against Claremont Mudd-Scripps on Tuesday.
