Cal State San Marcos Athletics

Adam Loran of the No. 3 Cal State San Marcos men's golf team has been named the Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 29 - May 5, 2013. The lefty from San Jose led the Cougars to their first-ever Association of Independent Instiutions (A.I.I.) Conference Championship on April 30 at Victoria Country Club in Victoria, Texas. Adam posted a 3-under 69 in the opening round and followed with a pair of 73's to finish at 1-under 215, good enough for a second-place.
