Amber Rosario has been named the Cal State San Marcos Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 25-Mar. 3, 2013. Rosario earned NAIA All-America status with a fifth-place finish in the 60m hurdles in Saturday's NAIA Indoor Women's Track & Field National Championships in Geneva, Ohio. She ran 8.81 seconds and scored four points for the team. CSUSM finished 19th overall in the competition. The junior from Oceanside, Calif. placed fourth in the 100m hurdles in the 2012 outdoor national championships last season while anchoring the 4x100 and 4x400 relays that also made the podium.
