Kenny Belzer of the Cal State San Marcos baseball team has been named the CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4, 2013. Belzer was a key member in the three-game sweep against No.11 Concordia (Calif.) this past weekend. He played in all three games going 4-for-9 with two runs and three RBI, including a double in the ninth inning of game two, which ended up being the game-winning run. Belzer took the mound to start the series finale and hit a solo home run in the bottom of the second inning. He added eight assists at third base over the weekend.
