AJ Gasporra has been named the CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 24-30. Gasporra, who made his first three appearances in Cougar blue at the New Year's Cougar Classic, is averaging 24.0 points on 59-percent shooting over his first three games. In a 93-53 win over Lethbridge on Dec. 29, Gasporra scored 28 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including a 5-of-5 clip from behind the 3-point line.
