Cassie Damyanovich has been named the CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 10-16. She scored a career-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting as the Cougars won their third game in a row with a 74-66 win over Ashford (Iowa) last Friday. She made half of her 3-pointers (3-of-6) and hit a critical one late in the second half to put the game out of reach.
