Sophomore setter Alyssa Foster played a vital role in the Cougars' two wins over Chapman and San Diego Christian last week, totaling a combined 90 assists as No. 11 CSUSM improved to 18-8 on the season. She registered 50 assists and nine digs in a four-set win over Chapman before logging 40 assists and another nine digs in a 3-1 win over SDCC.
