Junior guard Michel’la Logan has stepped up big for San Marcos when it mattered most, helping the Cougars to 7 wins in their last 8 games, including winning the A.I.I. Conference Tournament in Madison, SD. Logan was named to the A.I.I. All-Tournament team after being the team’s leading scorer in both tournament games, and posting a double-double (14 points, 15 rebounds) in the semifinal. In February, Logan has averaged 9.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game, and she will lead CSUSM to the NAIA National Tournament in March.
