Pennington was named CCAA Golfer of the Week (Oct. 13-19) after picking up his first collegiate win at the Cal State Monterey Bay Otter Invitational on Oct. 18-19 in Seaside. He carded a 67 in the final round to finish with a 3-under 213 and defeated the runner-up by four strokes. Before that, Pennington was the top Cougar on the leaderboard at the Bill Cullum Invitational on Oct. 11-12 in Valencia – a tournament made up of all Division-I schools besides CSUSM.
