The NAIA leader in wins (41) and innings pitched (323.2), senior Brenna Sandburg blazed the way to CSUSM’s 4^th place finish at nationals, picking up 5 wins, 4 of which were complete game shutouts. Also the school record holder in every major pitching category, Brenna was outstanding throughout the tournament, hurling every inning for the Cougars, and was selected as a 1^st team All-American, her second All-American honor.
